How to Update Java version on Windows 10

  1. The first thing you have to do is to click on the Cortana search bar and type in Java. This will prompt a lot of options which include content available on your device and online. When you spot the Check for Update option, click on it.

  1. This will open the Java control panel. Here, click on the Update tab. Here click on the check now button which will prompt the Java control panel will search for any available updates for Java on your Windows 10 PC.

  1. If there is an update available, you will see a new window with the Update details. Here, click on the Update button.

  1. The update will now be downloaded and installed.

You will now have the latest build of Java installed on your Windows 10 PC/Laptop.
