As reported by different users on Twitter; Egypt seems to have blocked access to online publishing platform, Medium. Users have reported not being able to access Medium website and applications. For those of you who don’t know, Medium is a publishing platform; founded and run by Evan Williams, Co-Founder of Twitter. The platform hosts all types of writers; from amateurs to accomplished professional bloggers and authors. All the users who’ve reported the block on Twitter are clearly not happy with it.

It’s not clear why the website has been banned. There’s no official word about it, yet. We’ve reached out to Medium and will update this story if we hear back from them.
