To counter the rising concerns, Google rolled out the Digital Wellbeing option on Android smartphones, to help individuals track their smartphone users every day. This also allows parents to keep a track of how much their kids use the smartphone and make sure they don’t push the limits.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to check how much time you spend on your Android smartphone.
Step 1. Open the ‘Settings‘ app on your Android smartphone.
Step 2. Scroll through the list and tap on the ‘Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls‘ option.
Step 3. You will now see a graphical representation of your smartphone usage for the ongoing day.
Here, you can also set time limits for your smartphone, in which case, the device will turn off automatically and remind you to unwind or stay focused on the task at hand.
There is also a ‘Reduced Interruptions’ feature that allows you to set a time limit in which you will not see any notifications so that you can complete your work without distractions.
The Digital Wellbeing feature is a blessing in disguise for all Android users, and we hope this brings about a change in the usage behavior in all the users.
